It fits the two most common U.S. backsets—2-3/4 inches and 2-3/8 inches (the distance from the edge of the door to the center of the hole). The deadbolt has a 1-inch throw, and the lever latch has a 1/2-inch throw, both plated in nickel for durability. For security, the exterior is operated with a key, while the interior uses a turn-button knob. This set works on standard doors that are 1-3/8 inches to 1-3/4 inches thick and comes with a 1-inch by 2-1/4-inch radius corner faceplate and a 5-pin cylinder with a removable core. For installation, the cross bore should be 2-1/8 inches (54 mm) in diameter, and the edge bore should be 1 inch (25 mm) in diameter. This lock is ANSI Grade 3 certified, making it ideal for residential security.
